New BITUBO Racing Shock Absorber - Ducati Panigale V2 955 from 2020
Derived from the multi-award-winning XXF, the Mono XXZ, until now reserved exclusively for our official teams, confirms its position at the forefront of technology, presenting a completely renewed design with numerous technical innovations, such as the 4 adjustments: high and low-speed compression and rebound, with new configurations designed to give the rider the best possible feel.
Internally, it is renewed with technical solutions that optimize the fluidity of moving parts, improve the damping coefficient and increase stability at high temperatures, without forgetting the use of lightweight materials to reduce overall weight. The Ø14mm piston rod increases fluidity and the Ø30mm piston reduces moving fluid masses for a faster response to stresses. Particular attention has been paid to increasing the sensitivity and precision of the adjustments. XXZ is designed to reduce inertia and ensure immediate control of suspension oscillations.
The objective is to provide the rider with driving precision and an unprecedented increase in grip, as well as uniform tire wear thanks to instantaneous control of the forces at play. This gives the rider maximum support in corners, even at extreme lean angles or during quick changes of direction, maximum confidence in opening the throttle on all types of tracks, and perfect rear-end stability even during the most violent accelerations.
